Obviously this color scheme screams patriotic right? I do love the look of the embossing paste background. More over this lady dancing by the water reminds me of someone dear. I love the carefree sense this card brings me.
I started with a base of Real Red and using the Embossing Paste and the Party Masks stencils I created this lovely diamond background on a piece of Night of Navy. I tied a bit of Real Red ribbon around it and layered it to the front. I then stamped the lady from the Beautiful You stamp set with the Basic Black ink pad and colored her in using Night of Navy and Real Red ink with an Aqua Painter then added a but of Pool Party ink for the water. I layered that on the front with some Dimensionals.
Playing with the embossing paste gives my cards such a wonderful texture and it is so easy to use.
